Moving folder into a folder creates error "Couldn't move 1 item [Folder Name]"
Hello -
I am attempting to move all of my files from one account to another, so I am trying to follow the instructions via link below.

Since you have already shared the folder, on the non-team member account you can simply create another folder with the same name elsewhere, and then drag the contents of the shared folder into the new private folder. Does this generate the same error?

2 years agoIt won't be possible to move team folders into another shared folder.
Are you able to have all the files and folders sync normally onto your computer, if you have enough space?

No, I don't have enough space to do that.
Is there a way to change the team folder to a non-team folder?

No, there isn't a method to convert a team folder to a private or shared folder.
You ca try sharing the team folder with a non-team member (i.e., the other account you're trying to move to) to see if this helps, or copy the team folder into your personal folder.

I've already shared the team folder with the non-team member account. I see the shared folder in that non-team account. But when I try to drag that folder into another folder, I get the same error.
How do I copy the folder once I have it shared with the non-team account?
I need to somehow make a copy so that after I'm done with the process, I can delete the folders from the original business/team account.

This works sometimes. When I have subfolders or files that are shared with someone else, it generates the same error. This is also going to take a lot more time.
I guess if this is the only solution, then I'll have to do it. But definitely not ideal.
