Need access to a shared folder, but the folder's owner is deceased.
In 2018, a family member sent me an email to some folders he had set up on Dropbox. When I now try to access it, I get the message "Request access." "You do not have access to this content."

I'm sorry to hear about your loss and these circumstances.
In general, if you need to request access to a shared folder, then it would need to be authorized by the owner of the shared folder, or possibly another member in that shared folder.
If a family member does have access to their Dropbox account, then it might be possible for them to accept the request on their end.
