New Dropbox folder structure is affecting my syncing
With the introduction of the new version of Dropbox ( I have 183.4.7058 now), there have been issues with its functionality. In the main Dropbox folder, besides the working shared folder, a folder with my name has appeared. This setup is not suitable for my work as it disrupts the links for files shared for general use. My colleague created a new folder in the shared folder of our organization, but I can't synchronize it on my computer. Therefore, I decided to reinstall Dropbox and restart the computer. However, after these actions, Dropbox doesn't display or synchronize any files at all. The folder is empty, and the indexing process has been going on for more than a day without any noticeable changes. Please help me figure this out and restore my usual settings for normal operation.

Hi lilya_solomyanchuk, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
It sounds like you're referring to this change, as you mentioned a folder with your name on it.
Does the shared folder have any incompatible characters in it?
This will help me to assist further!

Is the folder visible on the Dropbox site? Could you try reinstalling the app, without uninstalling it first, using this link?

Yes, the folder visible on the Dropbox site. Reinstalling the app didn`t help. It still indexing all time.

Sorry for jumping in, lilya_solomyanchuk.
If you check your app’s syncing status, does it seem to make progress or is it stuck indexing a specific number of files?
Also, can you please right click on your local Dropbox folder > select Properties, and let me know how many files it’s currently syncing?
