Not syncing after router upgrade
so I upgraded my router. Verizon fios 5g. and since then my dropbox is taking forever to upload files I add. Had a similar problem with my google drive but that seemed to repair itself somehow. I have uninstalled dropbox from both my phone and my pc and reinstalled them, but same problem.

Hey PStango, thanks for letting us know about this.
If you take a look at the Dropbox application's bandwidth preferences, are they limited?
If so, can you set them to 'no limit', to see if that helps?
Keep me posted.

No worries!
Is it possible that the date/time settings are maybe wrong on the router and that's what's causing this issue?

the date and time are correct on my PC. is there a seperate date and time setting for my router?

They do, you'd just need to look up the info on the website of your router's manufacturing company.

date seems fine. I'm wondering if I need to upgrade my ethernet card now that my router is 5g?

Hi PStango, is it possible that there is any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?

I checked all that. So I installed a 5g wifi card into my PC and that seemed to solve the issue. My old card was Hard wired with a Cat6 cable but I guess the speed of my card needed to match my router speed. Sounds a bit crazy but its syncing instantly again. thanks for all the suggestions.
