Photos uploaded do not show up in the Photos tab
Hi there. I uploaded a bunch of photos and videos when i was on the main Dropbox home page on Windows.
I wanted them to show under the 'photos' tab, but they are all showing as files on the main h...

I'm afraid they cannot only appear in the photos tab, yd19.
Since they are uploaded in your account, they'll appear in the All files page online and the Files tab in the app.
You could create a folder, though, to move them into, if you want.

3 years agoHey yd19, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Generally, the photos tab will show all the image and video files uploaded in your account, no matter their location or way you upload them.
That being said, the photos tab excludes:
1) .png files
2) photos smaller than 15 KB in size
Could this be the case here?
Let me know!

Thanks for the update, yd19.
Just to clarify, are you not seeing them in the photos tab online or in the photos tab on your Dropbox mobile app?

Hi. So interestingly, the photos and videos have now appeared in the photos tab both on the ios app and on the desktop online. BUT they are also still showing as individual files under the 'Files' tab , which is pretty annoying, as i now have a clogged up long list of files (400+) on the main homepage.
Is there any way to make sure they ONLY appear in the photos section?
