Request for Assistance with Files Naming Conventions in Dropbox
Hello,
I am currently working with photographers who upload their files to Dropbox in response to my requests. However, I am encountering an issue: the uploaded files invariably include the photographer's name.
More specifically, the files are named following this format: file number + first name + last name + .jpeg.
Could you please advise how to ensure that the photographer's first and last names do not appear in the file names?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Best regards,

Hi Mani26750,
There are 2 ways for the names to come up. If you shared folder to particular photographer it's up the the photographer what name to select - you cannot do anything. If you provided file request and the file names change when this request is in use, wipe the naming convention you have set (probably unintentionally) to that request. 😉
Hope this helps.

Hi Здравко,
Thank you for your reply.
I always send a file request. So if I understand you correctly, I need to change the settings?
Okay, but where can I do this?

By default usually it's not set. So, just avoid to set it when creating new link. Wherever already set, you should clear by hand.
