Sync mit Lightroom mobile

Does anyone know if and how I can sync my photos feom Adobe Lightroom mobile or Lightroom CC (NOT Lightroom classic) with a Dropbox account?
Thanks for your help!!!
  • I got an answer in the Adobe forum.
It seems that it's not possible.
    Here's the answer from there:

No, that is not possible. Adobe Cloud is much more than just storage space. It includes the ecosystem to sync the images and the edits, and it includes 'Adobe Sensei', the artificial intelligence that scans your photos and uses subject recognition to tag them, so you can search on subjects even without having to add keywords. Dropbox is just storage space, it does not contain any of that.

Hey there zeili12  - how are you today?

I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish; could you elaborate on this please? Are you referring to our active integration with Adobe perhaps? Or you'd just like to have your Adobe files inside your Dropbox Folder?

Note that when it comes to our desktop app, the Dropbox software is designed to watch your Dropbox folder and sync any files placed in the folder.  Your Dropbox folder is just like any other folder on your hard drive, but with syncing features.

To take advantage of Dropbox, you can move or copy files into the Dropbox folder as this will place the files into the Dropbox folder. Once Dropbox sees changes in the Dropbox folder, it automatically syncs the new changes to Dropbox servers and to any other computer linked to your account.

For more information on adding files to your Dropbox (and screenshots) check out this Help Center article: https://help.dropbox.com/desktop-web/add-files

I hope this helps to some extent and please let me know if I'm missing something obvious here.

@Walter I would like to use my dropbox account instead of the Adobe Creative Cloud storage!
Maybe my question is clearer now.
I already found possibilities for Lightroom Classic CC but not for Lightroom Mobile and Lightroom CC.

In that case, your question is best suited for Adobe's forums zeili12 - have you tried reaching out to them directly?

Thanks so much for keeping me in the loop zeili12  - most appreciated!

I'm glad you were able to clarify this in the end and I remain at your disposal, should you come up with a Dropbox question in the future.
