Syncing icons on the files in the Dropbox folder have changed

After weeks of escalating this to the highest possible level i can, here is the response i get:

From my understanding, you are enquiring into the recent sync icon changes. I will be happy to look into this for you.
The changes were made in an attempt to give a consistent experience for users across Mac and Windows.
These decisions are made based on a number of factors and on a company level and as such I am unable to provide a more in depth explanation.
However I will certainly pass on the feedback you have provided regarding these changes, and I apologies that it has not been a positive experience for you.
If you need any further assistance, please let me know.

I’m convinced Apple or Google or Microsoft had leverage / paid them out to weaken their product, in favour of their services.

They are not wrong, after these changes Dropbox experience has been consistently bad.
