Syncing Off-line to additional laptop
Apologies if I am not using the right terminology. I cannot figure out how to put a shared file on the local drive of an additional laptop.
All my documents are maintained in a shared file thro...

Could you clarify what you mean by a 'shared file'? Is this a file that appears on this page on your account, is it a shared link to a file, or are you referring to a shared folder?
Also, on laptop 2, do you have the Dropbox desktop application installed on that machine?
