The desktop app on Mac OS isn't syncing any more
Device :
MacBook Pro
Operating System/Browser (if using the web) :
macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 (25A362)
Dropbox App Version (if using the app) :
234.4.5591
Syncing Status
No automatic sync any longer
Question or Issue
Hi all,
Files edited using another device, such as my iPhone, no longer sync automatically to my Mac.
This has been happening since I upgraded to the latest version of macOS and iOS, version 26.
Now I have to force the sync by opening the file on my Mac and closing it again. Only then does it update with the changes I made on other devices.
Do you happen to have a clue why ?
Am I the only one experiencing this ?
Cheers
Thanks for the info. If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link?

What does Dropbox say if you mouse over its icon on the status bar before you do this?

Hi oreinar, thanks for joining the Community!
Could you try reinstalling the Dropbox desktop application, without uninstalling it first, by using this link?
Keep me updated with any progress!
