Unable to save new Excel files (Excel 2021), Windows 11
This occurred once before, but then corrected. However, today, I am unable to save newly created Excel 2021 files to Dropbox. I think they are saved, but when I go back to the folder, they are not...
I did. I quit Dropbox and the new file successfully saved. When I restarted Dropbox it uploaded and synced correctly.

It may sound trivial, but are all these Excel files you’re unable to access properly saved within the same folder on your Dropbox account? Is there any chance that the filepath contains more than 218 characters, as also suggested by the error you uploaded previously?
Can you please try to create and save your Excel files within the root Dropbox folder, and let me know if the same error occurs once more?
Hi Nancy, they are properly saved. I have tried saving (the Excel) files through every known path - including the root Dropbox folder. When I quit Dropbox, the file saves properly. When Dropbox is on and syncing, the Excel file will not save. Again, I do not have the problem with any other file type. Only Excel (2021).
