Ventura - Uploads via Safari stalled
I access my Dropbox files via Safari (Mac), not via the Desktop App. When I was running Mojave I could upload 40 GB .zip files with no problem. Since updating from Mojave to Ventura the upload of even a 10 GB .zip stalls out with this message:
"You seem to be having internet issues. Hang tight and we'll resume your upload once you reconnect."
I've run Speedtest on my Internet connection both immediately before and after the attempted upload and get speeds of 54 Mbps so that error message is bogus.
What's the solution?

Hey Charlot_2, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you please clear your browser's cache or even try another browser with no extensions or plugins running and let us know if you notice any difference?
Thanks so much!

Walter,
I removed cookies, cleared the history, and had Safari as the only app loaded. Same result - it stalls after sending 17 mb or 52 mb of a 17 GB file.
I tried with Firefox under same conditions and it didn't even begin the upload.
Thanks for any help,

Could you reboot your computer and router and me know if this persists Charlot_2?
If it does, I'd appreciate a screenshot of any error you might be getting too.

Walter,
I was skeptical but I reset my modem and rebooted my iMac and uploaded some test files successfully. However the uploads went slowly (52 minutes for 17 GB) and not without warning messages. See attached.
Since I'd just upgraded from Mojave to Ventura I naturally think that's part of the problem. But it occurs to me now that maybe my ISP (Cox Cable) is throttling back on uploads. Does that ever occur?
Thanks again.

Hi Charlot_2, it is possible that certain ISPs can throttle connections to certain sites (or in general to any site),
Are you connected via ethernet cable or via WiFi to your router?

I'm connected via cable from my iMac to the router.

Thanks for the additional info, Charlot_2.
Since the issue improved after resetting the router, I'd suggest reaching out to your ISP as well, to see if this is something they're doing on their end.
