What is the best way for me as a music librarian to upload and share content with others?
I am a music librarian for a community orchestra and need to upload music for the members to download. How is the best way to do this?
Separate folders for each instrument? Grant access to each folder or to the entire Dropbox? Any ideas to make this easier would be welcome.

Is it possible to load my scans directly into Dropbox or do I need to save each file on my computer then transfer them?

Do they just need read only access? If so why not consider sharing out links to them? Or maybe even a master link and everything saved in subfolders under it: https://help.dropbox.com/files-folders/share/view-only-access

Hi Kmccullough1948, how are you today?
You can scan content directly to your Dropbox account. Here is how you can do that.
If you have any questions, let me know.

Thank you. That makes my job so much easier! I used your advice and cut the time in half. I am 73 years old and need to learn as much as I can with the current technology.

Thanks for the advice. I was able to create and share the link as you suggested.

Thanks, I did scan directly into Dropbox and got everything shared with my orchestra.
