Why can't I upload more than 1 photo to Dropbox from an iPhone or iPad?
Why can I only upload one photo at a time from my iPad or iPhone to Dropbox? As soon as I check more than one photo, the Dropbox icon disappears.
- 9 years agoAs long as you have a new version of the app you can.
You tap the big + button, upload photos and then tap on the ones you want it to upload.

Hi,
The ability to upload multiple media images/videos via Dropbox is clear. This however, creates major inconvenience when there’s a need to keep going through the images from the last uploaded batch. In other words, as one of the other users mentioned, we should be able to control the uploads from the photo album of the device by selecting multiple images/videos > Select to upload into Dropbox (when currently the app icon disappears when more than one image is selected) > Dropbox should launch to provide the option to go to the desired folder and create folders for the batch being uploaded. When done, the app should close and we are now back to the last image that was selected for the upload via the photo album.

Hey SamCW, thanks for sharing your thoughts with us & please accept my apologies for the tardy reply! While this is an older discussion, kindly note that I’ve been able to cross-check how you could get going with that & I’m reaching back out to you with great news. Can you follow these steps whenever you have a bit of time?#1. As you navigate on your Photos, tap on the +/- icon on the top-right hand corner & then tap on Select, that should let you view all your photos & choose pics.#2. Select the ones you’d like to upload after the last batch & you should see a ✔️ on the bottom right-hand corner.#3. Once you’ve picked the ones you’d like to save in Dropbox, tap on the Share icon on the bottom-left with the arrow showing upwards, that should re-direct you to a new screen. If you scroll a bit, you should find the option to Save to Files, where you’ll be able to load your entire Dropbox account (& folder structure).Would you mind giving my suggestion a go whenever you have a minute & let me know here if that's what you've been looking for? Thanks again!- SamCW7 years agoExplorer | Level 3Hi Jane, thank you for the reply, this certainly solved the issue for the most part. However, after selecting the photos > “Save to files” and all folders appear, the only obstacle left to resolve is the inability to create new folders/Subfolders right from the same screen (window) without having to open the app (DropBox in my case) and swing back and forth each time new folders/Subs are needed for different photo batches.
