A team says they're running out of quota when they upload to my account

Plenty of space but Dropbox keeps telling my team that THEY'VE run out of space when they try and upload files to my Dropbox. What is going on?

If you intend to have a large shared folder, between different Dropbox accounts, then you need a plan on each account that can accommodate the folder if the Basic plan isn't enough. Usually the normal Dropbox Plus plan is enough for most users.

You can have users directly upload to your account, without it affecting the quota on their account using file requests

It is also possible to earn free quota using referrals, so it isn't necessary to upgrade your account if need be.

Thank you. Will try the File Requests option.
