Dropbox Basic plan stuck at 77GB storage usage and I can’t upload to shared folder
Hi Dropbox team,
I’ve recently dropped back to the free plan, and my storage usage is showing 77GB, even though I’ve removed all personal files and only have access to a shared folder that’s owned ...

I see, thanks for the clarification there Alpha _p - much appreciated.
In that case, you should be able to delete your backups to free up some space. Just navigate to your backups page and delete them from there.

Thanks for your reply, but the issue is not the shared folder — it’s that my storage is completely filled by an old backup (77.7GB).
As you can see in the attached screenshot, these backup files are using up my entire quota, but I can no longer see or manage them since downgrading to the free plan.
I can’t delete these backups because they don’t appear in my regular file view or anywhere else. Could you please purge them
?
