Dropbox is full with a Backup, can I delete that?
I am on the free version and get messages that my Dropbox is full. I have deleted a lot of files but still get the message. I notice a lot of my used space are backup. What happens if I delete backup? Do I lose those files?

Hi dkapler, thanks for contacting us!
As you have a backup, it can be viewed on this page, and if needed you can delete the backup using these steps.
If you need any further assistance, please let me know!

Jay, If I delete backup, do I lose the files from DropboX? They would then only exist on my PC.

The Dropbox Backup is generally files from your Desktop, Documents and Downloads folder (depending on what was selected). When you delete the backup, you get the option to 'Keep content in folders on this PC/Mac', which will restore the folders back to their original locations, and no data should be lost.
