Dropbox took away all the GBs I had earned by referring other users. Why is that?
Question or Issue Dropbox took away all GB I obtained by me promoting others over years to use DB - WHY?

1 month agoThanks for all the screenshots! If you go here, can you see what’s taking up the extra space on your Dropbox account?
For example, in some cases, Dropbox backup may have been accidentally enabled and there are files using up Dropbox storage. You can also double check this here and delete them, if need be.
Let me know what you find.

Also, this is on another screen from the Dropbox app that shows I have/had 17 GB of space . It is not making sense because how was I able to upload all that data in the first place if Dropbox didn't allow me to do so whenever I have tried to go over 17 GB?
(To the other user, the professor, thanks and I've been using Dropbox since its inception years and years ago when it was a novelty to people and yes, I was able to promote it and had that much data that I'd earned.)
