Getting messages that my storage is full - but it isn't
My dropbox capacity is 5GB. I cleared several items out of DB down to about 1GB. And yet, I still get incessant messages that I'm at 105% capacity (which I am not). I'm also not running any automatic...

Are you getting notifications about your space within your account, at the bell icon? Or are they email notifications?
If they are emails, try double-checking which email address they're going to. Is it the same as the one you're using on your Dropbox account?
