Hello everyone!
I wanted to show you exactly what happens and what steps you'll need to follow in order to get more free space in your Dropbox.
From your Account Settings page you see all your current space and all the space you've earned.
To begin earning more free space, you can visit the Dropbox Get more space page here.
From this page you can invite your friends to join Dropbox by emailing them, sending them a direct link to join or sharing your invitation on Facebook. You can earn up to 16 GB !

Finally, can check the space you've earned by going to this page and you'll have a detailed list of all the actions you've taken and how much free space you've earned!

The only time referral space is removed from an account is when it has been determined that a referral had been earned through illegitimate means. When that happens, all referral space is usually removed.
The only way to know the actual cause is to contact Support.

If that's the case then this is stupid. Then what's the point of looking for referrals, if I can just create an account myself and still get the same amount of space eventually? I thought I'm getting an extra 500GB advantage by creating an account through a referral link (and can THEN get additional 16GB by referring others). What are Dropbox thinking?
Is there a source that confirms your statement (unless you're a Dropbox employee, in which case I'll just take your word granted)?I want to share dropbox via facebook but when I try to post it says nothing was posted and asks me to close the window. I am trying to get free space but it will not allow me to do it.

You'll need to speak to Facebook about it I'm afraid as its their site having the issue.
However, it isnt unheard of that Facebook bans, even temporarily, Dropbox links due to spamming. If you give it a few days it may work.

Please keep in mind that the option to get more space by connecting to Facebook is no longer available, though I've moved your thread here, since on the first page of this thread there are all available options to get some more space by connecting on social media :dart: :robot:.

- Hello, I like your service π But I would like to ask you next question: why you haven't tariff plan like the google drive? I don't need 1Tb disk , and it expensive to pay 10$ per mounth. I would be ready pay 40$ per year for 100Gb or 50 Gb. It will be grate if you make not only buissness tariff. Thank you π
