Hey TropicalLady ,
We took a look into this and we believe that this happened due to a delay in data. The pop-up hadn't detected the upgraded storage space and popped up to say you were out of storage. We've raised this with the team in charge of pop-ups.You should no longer be seeing this, but if you are, let us know so we can investigate further. We'll be happy to assist any way we can!

Hi there, TropicalLady, let's look into this together!
As a first step would you mind checking your plan page online, and let me know what it reports?
What is the subscription that you see there, along with the account's quota?
Is it possible that you have a different Dropbox account that you upgraded by mistake? If you have a transaction ID of the charge, you can use our self-serve look up tool in order to locate the account behind it, and see if the email is the same as the one you're using.
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there.
