Incorrect out of space error message about available space when I try to add content to my account.
I've recently started getting a "You're out of storage. To copy this content you need more storage space." message when I try to save files from a browser (either Chrome or FF) directly to my Dropbox. I've got the free 2gig account and all indicators (both through Windows explorer and my account on Dropbox) - show that I'm only taking up 378.7 meg of storage. I just double-checked my backups and I have none (neither visible nor hidden/deleted).
I can still save the file 467k .pdf locally and then upload it to my Db through explorer without issue, so I can confirm that I truly do have enough room.
Any thoughts?

I can't join a shared folder. I have almost 1GB of space available and the shared folder is 80MB. Says my storage is full.

Hey Breakitfast, thanks for letting us know.
Can you send us a screenshot of your available space and of the shared folder size?
Just make sure to hide any personal info from the screenshot.
Can you also double-check that you're trying to add the folder to the correct account?

A project setup by an outside company needs me and a bunch of other collaborators to upload files to a shared Dropbox. We were each shared our own folder that we need to "join" to upload our files (~10 mb). I have 0 out of 3 GB used, however, I cannot join the folder. Is there any way to upload files if I'm not a paying subscriber?

Is there already data in the folder that exceeds 3GB? If so, you won't be able to join the folder because it has more data than your account can hold.
If you won't need to access the files after you upload them, ask the company to send you a File Request instead.

The folder has 3 documents taking up 1.6 mb and I have 3 GB available. I also tried making a new account with 2 GB available but each time it says I need to expand my storage.
