Storage Issue after trying to upload files to a shared folder
I am on the free 2GB account but trying to upload photos to someone else's account. The shared folder is not part of my account, but I am getting an out of storage error when trying to upload photos to this other account who shared the folder with me. How do I upload photos to someone else's account without it hitting my storage space?
Hey tsu_mc, thanks for reaching out to our Community.
When you accept a shared folder that's shared with you with edit permissions, it gets added to your account, thus taking up space in your account as well.
If you want to upload files to someone else's account, without them taking up space in yours, they can send you a file request.
I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any questions.
