9 months agoHey thomasjt! Instead of tapping on the button you're at now, can you tap on the button with the 3 dots next to one of your Word files below? Do you see the “Delete” option then?
From your screenshot, it looks like you’re at the root Dropbox directory, so you won’t see the “Delete” button, unless you tap next to the file/folder you want to delete.
Let me know, if that helps.

When I go to All Files, tap recent and all files come up, when I check the files I want to delete, the 3 dots at the far right appear and when I click on the 3 dots I get, File Info and File Activity. That's it. No other options. So unless Im in the wrong place, then Im stumped. If I click on Photos, I get a dog sleeping in a pillow..!! So I don't know...!

Thanks for giving it a go. Since I understand you also have access to a laptop, can you access https://www.dropbox.com/home from your computer directly and let me know if you’re still not seeing the option to delete your Dropbox files via your web account?

Hi Nancy....
Tried that... https://www.dropbox.com/home and do not see the option to delete . I presume, that if and when I can delete files does in fact free up space...! That's my objective...before I give up...!

Hi thomasjt, could you visit this page and the Backups page to see where the quota is being used up?
Screenshots of these pages would also help greatly.

I visited "This Page" and the Backups page, where thought I could delete th 'Lexar' folder...but I can't even delete that. If you can, please do so...because I don't need it.. It appears to be that Im getting No Where with this Dropbox and Im loosing my patience. If this can't be cleaned up and resolved,, I'll just unload the program. I really don't need it anyway...!!

It sounds like you have a Dropbox Backup folder then, which is taking up the space on your account.
What happens when you attempt to delete this Lexar folder? Do you get any error?
