Waiting for installation

Hello the referral of a friend [personal information removed per the Community's Guidelines] did not pass.
He installed Dropbox on 3 devices but didn't get extra memory and at the referral program it is mentioned : Waiting for installation
can somebody give me advice on this ?

    Did he install the Dropbox desktop application on a unique computer (one never having had Dropbox installed before)? Mobile devices do not count. He needs to install the Dropbox application on a computer.
