Apple Silicon (M1) Desktop Sync Compatibility
Please can you upgrade the Dropbox app so that it works natively on Apple Silicon Macs (M1) without Rosetta.
Rosetta is not an option as it annihilates the battery.

Hi all,
Native Apple silicon support is now fully available. All users with Apple silicon devices will receive the native version of Dropbox automatically. If you would like to update your device manually, you can do so by clicking on the latest Stable Build and downloading the Offline Installer (Apple Silicon) file. We’re testing native Apple Silicon support with a limited number of users and plan to open the Beta to all users by the end of the month.
DBXCommunity that is good news. I don't know enough of computers, but when the beta version is working and it is no longer a beta version, how do I get the update for my macbook pro Apple Silicon (M1)? How does this work? Because now it is working with Rosetta. How do I go form this version to the other version in the future? Thanks for your help.

Update:
Starting today, native Apple silicon support is available in beta to all users. Users interested in accessing the beta can visit the Dropbox Help Center for more details.
In my Dropbox client (v.139.4.4896, macOS 12.1), I am not getting the option to install betas in my Preferences > General settings, anyone else? How to fix this?
Oops, I just discovered a post by Fabio L. on the previous page of posts that links to the latest beta installer, so I imagine it is necessary to install that first:

I activated the option to receive betas from day one, but so far no support for the M1 here. I've restarted the app, the machine and nothing. And now, what's the solution?

Hi paulinhobrizola, hope it’s alright to jump in here.
Can you please toggle the setting for the early releases to off and then back on?
After that, try to install the app via our offline installer instead.
Let me know if there’s any difference!

The beta build has been working great on my M1 Pro! Super excited to finally have native ARM support.
Did I miss somewhere that SmartSync will not work in the betas? Mine certainly doesn't work and I've not been able to see way to fix it.
I am pretty disappointed that we're two generations into Apple Silicon and Dropbox still doesn't have something that is reliable and working.
