Cannot establish a secure connection after dropbox update to 111.4.472
After the dropbox app (Window 10) updates itself to the latest 111.4.472 version, I'm getting this 'Cannot establish a secure connection'.
I've checked my time on my laptop, router. It's fine. I've disabled firewalls and the whole Eset Security. I've checked my ports. Everything is fine. I've turned off the proxy setting inside app. Scanned my system for viruses, nothing fount. The only solution is to revert back to the older version, but if I do so, the app will update itself so I'm at the beginning.
I've just received some news that I'd like to share with you all here!
It appears that ESET has fixed the problem that was causing this error.
For anyone running ESET on their device, please update to the most recent version of ESET to update to the software.
Once you've done this, you should be fine to revert back to the latest stable version of the Dropbox desktop app. You can install this from here.
Otherwise, you can just allow the app to auto-update to the latest stable when a new version is released.
Let me know how it goes!

I can't install the program and the following information appears: A secure connection to dropbox could not be established because the date and dropbox settings on your computer are incorrect. However, the date setting on my computer is absolutely correct, since the date and time are set automatically.

Does anyone have a fix for the error - Cannot establish a secure connection, incorrect date & time after dropbox update to 111.4.472? I have tried all the troubleshooting but still no luck

I am also having this problem.
Time & Date is fine, and have followed any other instruction.
Surely this is a problem with the Dropbox server?

Same here.
Tried different computer, ethernet, wifi, mobile internet, with or without virus/firewall.
It's probably most certainly Dropbox causing this. Hope they can fix it soon. - Walter5 years ago

Hi all; thanks for your reports on this one!
For everyone that's affected by this, could you let us know if you're also having issues with the latest beta version found here?

I still have the same problem with the new Beta update of Dropbox.
It looks like Dropbox is being blocked by ESET SSL Scanning. I have disabled SSL temporarily because I need my Dropbox files.
But this is not a secured situation so I hope there will be a solution soon.
