Compatibility with MacOS Monterey 12.1
Hello,
I recently purchased a MacBook Air with its system "MacOS Monterey 12.1". I tried to install the application Dropbox but every time I tried, my computer doesn't want to install it : the download starts but after a few minutes, it stops and states "The download couldn't be completed".
I searched on the Dropbox website and it stated "If you want to run the Dropbox desktop application on your Mac computer, you need :
OS X Yosemite 10.10 or later up to macOS Monterey 12."
I wanted to be sure about one point : is the system MacOS Monterey 12.1 not compatible with dropbox, and thus I can't install it ? Is it juste a question of time before Dropbox is compatible with this system ?
Thank you,
Respectfully,
Thibaut Séville
Hi Thibaut Seville, are you doing okay?
Can you also try the offline installer from this link?
Let me know if you come across any issues when trying to install it.
Thank you!

Hi dashingdan do the files have a green tick on them when you view the files in Finder?

Do they have any icon on them at all, or just no green ticks? Is the Dropbox desktop application installed on your machine?

Yes the app is installed (im a long time user) it has a small grey cloud next to each photo, when I click it they will open, but again if I try to upload or post a photo that is stored in dropbox cloud to any online application I get a zero bytes received error from any and all platforms!

Hey dashingdan, sorry to jump in, but it sounds that your files are online only.
Do they give you the same errors if you set them to be available offline before using them on other platforms?
