Dropbox Android app not updating Word files

I posted this before, but can't find it. Dropbox android app not showing changes to my files. When I open the file with the word app, the changes appear, but if, I dont, I'm reading old version...

    Yes. And now I've also figured out that by closing the open Dropbox app in 'open apps' and then reopening dropbox, the updated file appears. Thx.

The new updated file appears on the website and on my computer hard drive.
Also, if I sign out and then sign back in on the app, the new updated version then magically appears. Also, as stated previously, if I turn off the phone and restart it, the new version appears Thx.

    This applies to all my 1000 files which are all online. If they are updating when I sign in and out of the app, something must be wrong with the app. Thx
