Dropbox app doesn't "register" on new iMac
I'm sorry if this is answered elsewhere, but my searches thus far have been useless. I just (May 2023) set up a new (2021) iMac M1. I have installed the Dropbox app on it like four times, and nothing...

Can you please try the offline installer from this page and let me know how it goes?
If you're running an antivirus or firewall on your machine, you could try temporarily disabling them too.
In any case, please keep me posted.

Yes! Oddly, after I double-clicked the icon and got the message that it was an app from the internet, and then clicked "open" on that, nothing happened. At least not immediately. It was maybe a minute or two before the setup screen popped up. But it's there now, and all is well. Thank you so much!!!!
