Paper is badly outdated and it needs an update. It's been years and dropbox paper team had been procrastinating. If an official release for this takes time. Can we get access to latest working beta b...

Hi bengal_puppy,
I just wanted to share an update about Paper here.
In October, we will no be supporting the Paper app on app stores anymore and will be focusing on web only access going forward.

Not sure what you misread. But, def. the best solution is if we have the android app updated and running. These additional details I have provided, is to help facilitate a temporary solution so we are able to open paper docs on android phone's browsers till the app is updated for Android.

4 months agoHi from me too, bengal_puppy. Our team is currently reviewing compatibility across newer Android versions.
In the meantime, we recommend continuing to access Dropbox Paper via the web.

Hey bengal_puppy, just jumping in for a second. The Dropbox app immediately launching when you load a paper link on web will depend on how you're launching the link.
I have an Android phone as well and just tested this out.
When clicking a Dropbox Paper link directly from Gmail, it will force the Dropbox App to open.
But when copying and pasting the Dropbox Paper link directly into a browser address bar (Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet) you'll be able to edit it right there in the browser.
Try it that way and see if you have success.
