Dropbox stopped launching from Windows 11 start menu or taskbar
Stopped working today (possibly after windows update yesterday?). Will launch from notification area but not the others. Trien reinstalling - no effect.
Any ideas or anyone else seeing this behaviour?
Thanks
So Dropbox support sorted it out. It was a beta version that had installed (I don't think I ever asked for beta but it was turned on in preferences). reinstalled stable version and all working 😊

Megan - Another bit of information: The Dropbox Icon in the Systray still works on Windows 10 (on a PC), and on Windows 11 Home (on a laptop). It does not work on Windows 11 PRO. Perhaps there is something different with Windows 11 Pro? Just a thought for your software engineers to consider. Thanks!

Hi.
Windows Icon/ Settings/ Personalization/ Other system tray icons/ (turn on Dropbox)
You'll see a new smaller Dropbox icon at the right part of the taskbar. This icon will work.
You can delete the original taskbar icon.

I know it sounds a little petty but launching from the system trade takes two clicks and launching from the taskbar only takes one click!
