Dropbox to automatically remove local copies if they haven't been used in a while?
Hi all,
Often the laptop runs out of space, and I have to manually go through and remove local copies of old files I've downloaded from Dropbox.
Is there a way to have Dropbox automatically remov...

You need to manually set files or folders to be online-only, either by right-clicking on the content or using the 'Manage hard drive space' tool to sort and select the files. You can see more about this here.
However, if you're using the Dropbox on File Provider (on macOS), files or folders not previously set to Make available offline may be automatically set to online-only when your hard drive is low on disk space.
Lastly, I'm going to keep the thread open for other users to contribute and share their knowledge, since I don't have the expertise to suggest a third-party app that could achieve this.
