Since upgrading to Windows 11 I have been getting this error. I thought it might be because the Dropbox installation was 32 bit and Windows 11 is 64 bit so I removed the app, reinstalled 64 bit and the app would not finish installing. I then allowed Dropbox as an app on my security program (AVG) - manually - as my security program did not see it. It still would not install. I then turned off the security protection temporarily and it finished installing and signed in. Today on re-starting the error came up again. I turned off the protection and reinstalled without removing and the app works again, with the security protection back on?
