Dropbox uses too much internet & data. What can I do?
Hi, I just started up my laptop and connected it to my phone's wifi hotspot. My laptop instantly started using an insane amount of data (I'm talking 500MB in 10 minutes). Upon further inspection my data usage report shows that ''dropbox update'' is using all this data. I tried temporarily disabling synchronization but that didn't help, what other options do I have? This has made my laptop unusable since it will cost me all my phone data to work for an hour.

Hi Akanichi, let's jump right into this!
In regards to the syncing of the data on the app: is this a fresh, new installation or not?
You mentioned that you disabled syncing, but this didn't work. How did you do this on your end? Have you tried these precise steps, in order to pause the app temporarily, until you can find a stable, WiFi connection, that you can use to sync data?
I hope this helps!
