Free 1 GB extra storage offer to install Dropbox Passwords

I got an offer of 1 GB extra storage if I installed Dropbox Passwords. I did so, but no extra storage. Was it a hoax?

    For the record the promised extra Gig was finally credited to my account.

I got an offer of 1 GB extra storage as well if I installed Dropbox Passwords extension but although I installed I did not receive extra storage.

    Hi! I just used dropbox in the browser and found a pop-up window about dropbox passwords. I installed the chrome plug-in and saved the password and did not receive the additional 1GB space. Please help me, thank you!
