How can I access my Backup menu on Mac Tahoe?

Application Affected
Dropbox automated backups
Device
Macbook Pro
Operating System/Browser (if using the web)
Mac Tahoe 26.2, Vivaldi browser

Question or Issue
i cant find the menu for my automated backup of external harddisk. As they are now full i need to manage them.

I looked online, and found a guide thats says i should click on my dropbox item in the menu, and then the backup tab. However there is no backup tab.

All in all i am a little frustrated with the DropBox interface. It seems like shared folders, local folders and backups are divided into different silos and some of them - like automated backups - is quite a puzzle to reach. This is strange as this is basically the same function. It would be much more logic to have an overall menu for all dropbox functions, so as a user you are able to acces everything from the same place.

So in short - how do i acces my backup menu?

Hey there, ananas123, let's see what we can find about this!

You can view and manage your Backups both online, and while using the Dropbox desktop app by following these steps:

    • Go to https://www.dropbox.com and sign in.
    • Click the grid icon in the left sidebar and choose “Backup.”
    • Or go directly to https://www.dropbox.com/backup/all to see all your device and external drive backups, including folders named with your drive’s label.

    In the desktop app:

    • Click the Dropbox icon in your menu bar and then access your preferences as shown here.
    • Visit your Backup page, and select the entry labeled with your external drive’s name to view its backed-up folders and their sync status.

If you're still not able to see your Backup menu, please feel free to send me a screenshot of what it looks like on your end, in order for me to have a visual.

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!
