How can I back up files from another drive onto my account?

Greetings. I purchased Dropbox cloud storage in order to back up my business material in the cloud. I installed Dropbox, but it only installs on hard disk C and does not recognize hard disk D to ba...

Are you asking to specifically back up another drive on your machine, or do you want to move the Dropbox folder to another drive entirely?

    Thanks for the info, currently this isn't possible using the Dropbox Backup feature, as this only works for external drives.

     

    There may be some other third party app or service that can help integrate this via the Dropbox API.

      If I move the Dropbox folder to a completely different drive will that solve the problem?

        Anything in the Dropbox folder will sync to the site like normal, so although it won't be able to backup an entire hard drive, if the files in the folder take up a lot of space, you can move the entire Dropbox folder to another drive.
