How can I get the old file view back?

Hi,  How do I remove 'Recents' as I login now and I can't get to see my files and folders...I can't even get using the menu on the left hand side!!  If this is a 'fancy new development' then the ...

    Click the link on the left side that says "files" you will see the old view. Its the first item under recents. 

    If you do not see it, then I suspect it is a browser rendering issue. Please try another browser.

I was getting ready to make a post about this until I saw the link to this post.  I also do not like the first instance of dropbox to be recent.  Usually the most recent files for my dropbox are the camera uploads and some pictures are NSF.  The reason its a problem because if I leave my flash drive at home and need to download a ppt for a presentation at school, I log into dropbox and download.  Imagine being in class and the entire class can see the computer display on the board.  You log into dropbox to download file and bam NSF photo.
