I downloaded the Dropbox app on my computer, but it's not showing up in the file explorer
New PC - free Dropbox Plan, I've used Dropbox for more than 10 years and for more than 4 years on my old PC - I'm running into problems trying to transition over to using Dropbox on my new PC.
Dropbox no longer shows in File Explorer? I can no longer open Dropbox files with Libre Office? How do I add Dropbox so I can see it in File Explorer?
I have downloaded the Dropbox desktop app. When I use the Dropbox app to open an "ods" format spreadsheet, it only offers me "Excel for the Web"?
Yet for a file that I saved as "xlsx" format, Dropbox has added an open in google sheets option >
Where did LibreOffice go as a preferred option? How do I add LibreOffice to the "open in" option?
Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Hey chiefmtn, let's jump right to this!
The first thing I'd like for you to check, is that the app is open and running.
You should be able to see a little Dropbox icon, next to your WiFi on your task bar. Can you see it there?
If yes, can you also hover your mouse over it, and let me know the app's syncing status, along with its version, please?
As for LibreOffice, if you visit your connected apps online, do you see it as an option there?
Keep me posted!

Hi Mark, The installer.exe file was previously downloaded and double clicked. I tried it twice more today, again without success.

You need to run the installer and make sure its running by logging in etc.
