Indexing stand off with Windows!
My Dropbox seems to be in a fight with Windows Search indexer! Dropbox indexes... when it finishes, windows will start... then Dropbox indexes again! And so on and son on... been happening for a co...

Can you hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray and let us know which version of the app you're running and what the exact sync status is?

When you say Sync status, where can I find that please?

No worries!
The sync status will be the message appearing along with the Dropbox version, when hovering over the Dropbox icon.

It had finished indexing when I sent you the version number... and now its started doing it again

If you simply reinstall the Dropbox app, without uninstalling it first, does it help at all?
