Mac OS Ventura - wrong folders size
After accepting updated File Provider API (https://help.dropbox.com/en-en/installs/macos-support-for-expected-changes) and installing the latest beta build for Mac OS on Mac OS Ventura now I can't see the size of the folders in Finder. All the folders have ZERO bytes. And this is the 1st time I got this bug using Dropbox for years !

Hey Nick_S, thanks for reaching out to us.
Can you let me know which version of the Dropbox app you have installed and what the sync status currently is?
You can hover over the Dropbox icon, to see this info.
Also, what kind of icons do the files in your Dropbox folder have next to them? Cloud icons?
Let me know and we'll go from there.

Hello and thanks, Hannah for reply)
1. I have Dropbox 171.3.6135 installed with sync status "up to date"
2. I attached a screenshot with the icons view (for the files in offline and in online mode)

Thanks for the update here, Nick!
If you switch the files from online-only, to available offline, are you able to see the correct file sizes?

Hannah yes, after syncing them. But I'm asking not about the FILES, but about THE FOLDERS size.

Hi Nick_S, thanks for the info, I'd recommend contacting the support team regarding this matter for them to investigate it further on their end.

Hi, Nick!
Any progress on this that you care to share? I am not experiencing this issue on my machine, running Monterey 12.1, Dropbox version 170.4.5895, but I did see the same thing on my other laptop running Ventura (not on the Dropbox version though). After some digging and contact with the advanced support team at Dropbox I finally was informed that this was "expected behaviour" and it was caused by Apple's changes to the fie management system yada yada. I really fear having to be forced into updating my OS or Dropbox now as this would make Dropbox completely unusable for me and my business. I need to be able to see the file size of folders and files that are set to "online only".

hi, Jay )
I've contacted to support and maximum which they could provide is...to read this article https://help.dropbox.com/sync/online-only-mac.
Now to see the folders size I simply need to...make them offline. ๐คฃ
C'MON !!! REALLY??? ๐ก

hi, battiman
Support advised simply to make the folders "offline" or to read this article (https://help.dropbox.com/sync/online-only-mac). And nothing about new file management system etc. Cool, isn't? ๐
I really need to see the folders size and without this feature it will affect my work and business too ! ๐ก

Dropbox works more and more stupid on Mac OS Ventura...
1. Dropbox menu from Mac OS sidebar has complete disappeared suddenly and won't to appear there even when I've trying to activate and deactivate it in Finder settings. But after restart all looks like it should be.
2. Last 2-3 days using Dropbox I've noticed (the 1st time ever using the app on different Mac Os for years !) since I got Ventura the app every time calculating wrong estimating time to finish the syncing the files. For example I was uploading a folder with 15 gb today and it "says" 30 seconds left but it took around 30-40 minutes finally ๐ And this bug is happening with every sync now.
*and yes, the annoying bug with ZERO bytes in the folders on Mac OS Ventura is still alive ๐
