MacOS: No "Dropbox" in the "Location" settings of Finder
I have updated Dropbox on MacOS (12.6.5), and I have learned that I should know be able to see "Dropbox" in Finder on the left hand pane under 'Locations'. However there is no such entry; 'Locations'...

Hey rovf, thanks for letting us know about this.
Can you please hover your mouse over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar, to see the sync status and the version of the app?
Also, if you go to ~/Library/CloudStorage, are you able to find the Dropbox folder?
Let me know and we'll go from there.

Can you try Ned's solution here, LaiPeng, to see if that helps you as well?

As mentioned, I've tried uninstalling (and restart) followed by delete all dropbox system folders using Terminal (except the document folder itself), double checked nothing is there then advanced reinstall. Done that like 3 to 4 times. I lost count. Nothing works.
Unfortunately my personal dropbox is online only. I don't seem to be able to back up the files. And... since Dropbox is not on the menu bar, I have no clue how to change the settings! All the instructions I saw requires the dropbox on the menu bar next to the wifi icon. Am I missing something?
