My Mac desktop app is waiting to be linked to a Dropbox account upon startup.

Question or Issue
When I start my Mac Dropbox it needs 20 tries to connect to my account.
waiting to be link to a dropbox account...ERROR... waiting to be link to a dropbox account...etc.
So it does connect and works fine but take couple mins and 20 tries and errors to finally connect.

    Thanks for posting this on our forum, Rickw! Welcome aboard. 

    The desktop app version that you’re running (238.3.5885) is the beta one, which is experimental. 

    Can you please switch to the stable app version instead (237.4.5655) and let me know if it makes a difference? You’ll first need to switch off "Early access" from this page and you can then download the latest app version from this link
