Reinstate the Dropbox context options on Mac OS
Recently my dropbox app asked me to move all of its folders to "locations" in finder, instead of the simple shortcut folder in "favorites" where it used to be beforehand. I agreed, cause it basically looks more tidy and logical that way – however this also removed the option to right-click any file or folder on my computer and get my favorite dropbox functions. As I understand it from reading this forum – that's expected behavior, I now only get the right-click menu when I'm in the actual dropbox folder.
I can see how some of the sub menu options are only necessary when in the dropbox section of finder, but I'm very sad to see that the "share" and "transfer a copy" menu are gone for my other non-dropbox folders in finder. This was an absolute productivity game changer for me, and legit one of my most used dropbox functionalities. It used to be: I want to transfer X file to a client (unrelated to my specific dropbox folders) so I right-click, click transfer and there it is; right in a separate finder window with no browser, no logging in,... Now I have to use the old school wetransfer-like workflow of first going to my browser etc, it's just not really progress I find.
So, a heartfelt appeal to reinstate the share and transfer menu on mouse right click – system wide! Thankyou.

Hi fabidjano, it looks like you've migrated to File Provider and lost access to the external context menu, which is expected due to Apple’s restrictions—unfortunately, this isn’t something Dropbox controls.
That said, you should still be able to access Transfer through Right-click > Share > Dropbox Transfer. If that’s not working, please let me know.
We’re currently considering adding a “Share with Dropbox” option alongside “Dropbox Transfer” in that submenu. It would still require two clicks (“Share” then “Share with Dropbox”) rather than one, so I’d love to hear if you think that would help improve the experience.
