Syncing is interrupted. But why?
Receive "Syncing Is Interrupted" error message. Took the following actions to resolve:
1. Disabled firewall
2. Disabled antivirus
3. Made the Windows user an admin
4. Disabled OneDrive
5. ...

That didn't work for me yesterday...
I have solved it syncing every big folder one by one, instead of all at the same time. A process which took me about 4 hours but in the end it worked.
With some of the folders, the Syncing being interrupted happened, and I solved it pausing the syncing, and then activating it again a few times (3 or 4). Not a very good solution, but effective in the end.

2 years agoHey theeconomist1, with so many subfolders, I assume your entire file count is probably over 300K files, right?
Have you tried reducing the number of files, by using selective sync to remove some folders off the Dropbox folder and see if that helps at all?

I have tried doing that. Is there a way to select several folders to synch at once (like 100 or 200)?
Clicking on 200 folders (one at a time) each times is a crazy waste of time. This can't be the right solution for a product as expensive as Dropbox - I have the business subscription. If your product doesn't work for > 300K, you should state it on the website, and not just mention that the performance could be reduced. It's not reduced - it's broken.

I just tried to synch folders with 250K files total, and ran into the same issue. Please advise how to proceed.

Hey there, theeconomist1, let's jump right into this!
If I understand this correctly, it sounds like you used the app to sync some of your files, and its syncing got interrupted, right?
If I didn't get this right, let me know more details.
It might sound trivial, but have you made sure that you have enough available space on your account, and on your device too in order to hold these files?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

My DB account has over 9TB (out of 33TB) of available space, and my computer HD has over 2TB space available. I am trying to sync a folder with 79GB. So space is definitely not a problem.
Exactly - just like everyone else here, I am trying to sync and suddenly it says "Syncing is interrupted". Similar to other people on this forum, the app claims that 120 files had sync issues. I have tried this now a couple of times, and every time it finds different 120 files. If I remove those files, it finds new ones. This seems to be a bug in the app.
