Syncing Ubuntu /home/myuser/ directory to Dropbox
Hi!
I'd like to set the Ubuntu "/home/myuser/" directory as the syncing Dropbox directory, to be able to access specific folders in my Ubuntu users home directory from the cloud. Thus far I have been doing research on linking directories in Ubuntu, but I am a novice to the operating system and have not been able to figure it out from my previous experiences. Therefore I am here to ask for help from the skilled.
Thank you!

Hey thinkfirstheniI, welcome to our Community!
Keep in mind that if you want your files to sync with Dropbox, they'd need to be within the Dropbox folder. You can then host the desired paths in the local Dropbox folder and create shortcuts/links in the other locations to point back there.
Just know that, shortcuts or symlinks for Dropbox files outside the Dropbox folder are not something that's really supported.
If you're looking for something a bit different or more specific, let me know more info and we can go from there.
