I had the same problem and didnât really want to have to re-install.
âOpen Dropbox upon startupâ was enabled but it wouldnât start unless I opened it manually however I did fix it without having to re-install:
- I turned off âOpen Dropbox upon startupâ in preferences.
- Shut down the computer.
- Restarted the computer and turned âOpen Dropbox upon startupâ back on.
- Shut down and restarted the computer and it launched like it should without me having to do it manually.
- Shut down and restarted a couple more times and it has launched every time.

I have discovered the same problem on my laptop. The app was working a while ago but now does not open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

Do you mean that you can no longer see the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar?

I see. If you right click on the Dropbox icon instead, do you see any options then? If yes, feel free to send me a screenshot.
Other than that, have you restarted your computer since the issue occurred?

Madame, obviously you are not understand what I am writing. The internet is full of all these bugs from Dropbox. This ha to be fixed from the developer and programmer, No one else has to do any troubleshooting and I will not either.
