Thank you so much for your reply.
To answer your questions: Yes. I have also tried the offline installer.
But still the same error.
The antivirus I had, I already did a change for Defender.
I do have the basic plan, and I already removed the old computer. I have 2 devices linked to my account, and it is my understanding that I can have 3.
Can I do something else?

8 months agoThanks for the additional info! As a test, can you also disable Microsoft Defender for the time being and restart your device? Please try to install the Dropbox app again after that and let me know what happens then (while Defender is still off).
