Trouble opening files/folders after a Windows update. The device is slow.
after a win 11 update dropbox is painfully slow opening folders and files in file explorer. on my win 10 computer there are no issues

It might sound trivial, but have you tried restarting your device at all?
Also, if you right click on your Dropbox folder locally, and then check the folder's Properties, how many files do you see there?
If you can send me a screenshot of that, I'd appreciate it.

and keep in mind there is no issue in the same setup on my win 10 computer, so it is some issue between dropbox and win 11 file explorer

Hey attydave - sorry to jump in here, but could you let us know the version and status of the Dropbox desktop app that's installed on the affected device?
Is it 'up to date' or still syncing? Also, are the files that show this behavior online only or is this happening for files that are available offline on your computer as well?

all files/folders (online only or already used thus available offline) in file explorer details pane (but not folders in the quick access pane)
lag time is 20-25 seconds to open
again, works file in my win 10 computer- no lag there
